OLD GOLDSMITH
Our house is located in the beautiful Southern Palatinate region in Klingenmünster – often called the Tuscany of Germany due to its frequent sunshine. The French border is only ten minutes away, and the charming French town of Wissembourg can be reached in fifteen minutes.
The house is entered through the courtyard gate and the typical Palatinate courtyard. On the ground floor, there is a first bedroom and a living room with a large sliding window opening onto the terrace and courtyard. A modern wood-burning stove makes the room incredibly cozy, even in winter.
In the former goldsmith's workshop there is a fully furnished study overlooking the playground opposite and the beginning of the hiking trail to Landeck Castle.
The first floor is accessed via the old oak staircase. This level comprises two bedrooms, a small bathroom with a rain shower, and a large, modern kitchen with a kitchen island and a dining area in the conservatory. A large balcony between the dining room and kitchen invites you to barbecue or simply relax.
The well-equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you could wish for a relaxing holiday. It includes an oven, induction hob with extractor hood, fully automatic coffee machine, refrigerator and large freezer, and a dishwasher. The kitchen is also ideal for larger groups to cook and spend time together.
The large dining room with an extendable dining table offers ample space for everyone. Two high chairs are available.
The bathroom with rain shower, large mirror and high-quality fittings is located between the bedrooms and the kitchen.
On the second floor there is another double bed. The wool carpet and the large new skylights give the room a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. The spacious master bathroom with rain shower and bathtub invites you to relax.
A ladder above the bathroom provides another sleeping option for children and the young at heart. Let the adventure begin! The catamaran nets are perfect for relaxing and playing.
In the courtyard, under the linden tree, is a whirlpool for up to four people. Here, you can relax in both summer and winter and afterwards enjoy a glass of Palatinate wine on the terrace.
